Institute on Religion and Public Policy urges congressional support for Baha’is in Iran

The United States House of Representatives introduced resolution H.Res.175 regarding the persecution of the Baha’is in Iran.  The resolution was sponsored by representatives Mark Kirk, James McGovern, Brad Sherman, Dan Burton, Bill Foster, Maurice Hinchey, Frank Wolf, and Jim Moran.

The persecution of Baha'is in Iran has been taking place since the religion began there in the mid-nineteenth century.
