H.Res.175 on the Bahá’ís in Iran

On October, 22, 2009, the U.S. House of Representatives passed resolution, H.Res.175, condemning the persecution of the Baha’is in Iran, in a 407-2 vote.

The resolution was sponsored by Rep. Mark Kirk. The other initial cosponsors were Reps. James McGovern, Brad Sherman, Dan Burton, Bill Foster, Maurice Hinchey, Frank Wolf, and Jim Moran. There were a total of 75 cosponsors. Download PDF
